The Hocotank is a war vehicle from Hocotate and used by the Z Syndicate for their takeover of the Pikmin Planet in Pikmin: Shadows of the Future. There are two types: the Hocotank B, which is blue, and the Hocotank R, which is red. The Hocotank B is completely stationary and slowly rotates its cannon in a three-hundred-sixty-degree circle, lazily shooting slow-moving missiles at targets. The Hocotank R moves around, against shooting missiles at targets. Any living organism a Hocotank R runs over is instantly killed. Both types of Hocotank can be destroyed by throwing Pikmin onto them and will explode shortly after defeat. Purple Pikmin are most effective for destroying Hocotanks.
