The Joongaird is a flines that lives in jungle trees and appears in Pikmin: The Continents. It has a primarily nectar-based diet and is preyed upon by Pikmin and larger predators. Like the Coagull, and the Forich, which it behaves similarly to, the Joongaird has a courtship dance it engages in with its partner during mating season; this particular one consists of both partners bobbing their heads for roughly twenty seconds. The female protects the chicks while the male searches for insects for them to eat. Joongairds can not receive sustenance from nectar until they mature.
