The Nectarous Puffstool is a sporovid in Pikmin: The Dawn of Petals that can heal itself with nectar, which it creates by combining molecules that it then secretes from the underside of its cap and later consumes. In an endless cycle, while it is still alive, it produces the nectar it digests, and being an inoffensive creature with little vitality, this ability is essential to its survival. Despite the size of its legs, it quite nimbly hops away from Pikmin, which can drink its nectar. Once defeated, it simply drops to the ground with a small thud, leaving its body to be salvaged.
