The Oilskate is a species of spitterspatter in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The creature acts much like a Skeeterskate. However, it is only found on oil pools. The bug will spit the substance at Pikmin, choking them to death unless whistled. It will then replenish its supply after a few shots. The best way to kill one is by throwing an Oil Pikmin onto it or sending a group at them to kill it. A single hit from an Iguana Pikmin's tongue works too.
