Super Captain Adventure is an unlockable mode in Pikmin: Before the Impact. To unlock it, Story Mode must be beaten at least once. Super Captain Adventure is a more difficult and complicated version of Story Mode.
In Story Mode, two hundred-one artifacts had to be recovered in an unlimited amount of time using Pikmin so a group of four friends could earn a vast sum of money. In Super Captain Adventure, however, time is limited to thirty in-game days and only a select number of Pikmin can be brought into caves. However, a fifth leader, Ethan Proscow, the president of Hocotate Freight, becomes playable. The reward for beating Super Captain Adventure is being able to see the first few episodes of the anime.
