The Shiny Snitchbug is a scarpanid in Pikmin 2... Again?. They resemble the Swooping Snitchbug but blue and purple and shiny. Shiny Snitchbugs typically lurk around the landing site, and will swoop down at Pikmin sprouts to uproot and eat them. However, they ignore Pikmin that aren't buried, making them a minimal threat.
