The Sniping Squortle is a smaller member of the squortle family in Pikmin 2... Again?. They hide in the ground, concealing themselves under a round lid, and will peek out only when Pikmin and leaders get close, firing a bullet-like pellet at them before retreating again. The projectiles kill the Pikmin and damage the leader hit by them. Pikmin can enter into its hideout to attack it while it peeks out, and it will shake them off by throwing them out. After being defeated, its ground lid will permanently cover its hideout, rendering its body irrecoverable.
