Static Beetle is a kettlebug in Pikmin 2... Again?. It is similar to the Antenna Beetle, but gray and with larger antennae. It typically ignores Pikmin, but will target leaders. While near a live Static Beetle, the player can not switch between control of leaders. Although inadvertently, Pikmin that carry an object past a Static Beetle also be disoriented, stopping them in their tracks or causing them to take a longer route to their destination.
