The Walking Bomb Rock is an enemy appearing in Pikmin: The After Years. It is a sentient bomb rock with feet and it displays behavioral traits comparable to the Volatile Dweevil; when it detects leaders or their Pikmin, it will stand up and walk towards them, activating its timer and eventually exploding. A Walking Bomb Rock will chase after targets that attempt to flee but may trip and cause itself to detonate. They are not very intelligent creatures and will walk off cliffs to pursue their targets. However, Walking Bomb Rocks are surprisingly very helpful when trying to defeat enemies without using Pikmin. Walking Bomb Rocks are most easily killed by detonating a bomb rock next to it, which will spark a chain reaction and cause it to explode.
