Z-min are robot replicas of Pikmin designed by the Z Syndicate in Pikmin: Shadows of the Future. It is made of light gray metal, has a single elongated optical lens on its face, and a rotating saw on its head that represents a flower. Z-min are commanded by blue-eyed Z-Bots in large groups consisting of five to fifteen individuals. They attack similar to Mushroom Pikmin and will latch on to any leaders they catch up with. When their leader is destroyed, all existing Z-min in their group will scatter for a few seconds before deactivating and exploding. As with Mushroom Pikmin, it is too risky to fight them with Pikmin, so punch it a couple of times using a leader to make it explode.
