The Pit of 100 Trials is a mode in Pikmin 8: The World Beyond that challenges the player to complete all 100 sublevels. It is unlocked after completing Story Mode. It is the only mode, and additionally cave, where it is possible to have all Pikmin types, even Glow Pikmin, in one place. The player starts with 10 of each Pikmin.

Difficulties

  1. Normal – the normal version of the Pit of 100 Trials.
  2. Spicy – a hard version of the Pit of 100 Trials.
  3. Ultra-Spicy – an even harder version of the Pit of 100 Trials.

It is also possible to play an endless mode of the Pit of 100 Trials.
