The Universal Collider is the last boss of Pikmin E. It is a giant machine made to purge the entire planet of its life using the spheres, each dedicated to a specific hazard, attached to its frame, but progress on it halted when Pikmin were discovered. Louie was one of those who helped develop the old project, and once he found it he was able to complete it.

Louie controls the Universal Collider from within it and is thus able to use every hazard encountered during the adventure. To combat Louie and his machine, twenty of each Pikmin species are provided. Louie is never seen during the battle as he is inside the machine. After the Universal Collider is destroyed, Louie is assumed to die and the machine itself becomes the Mechanical Remains.

Notes

Olimar's notes

It was sad, having to fight Louie. He was a trusted friend of mine, and I really have no idea why he chose to do this.

Eli's notes

Welp, Louie's dead. Not a big loss.
