The Acidic Beetle is a scarab beetle appearing in Pikmin: The After Years. Unlike Anode Beetles, they have green spots and spray acid when two of them meet. This attack will asphyxiate all but Green Pikmin. Throwing a Green Pikmin on top of it will flip it over. Thrown Purple Pikmin will also flip multiple of these beasts over due to the shockwaves they create upon landing, but take great caution to not accidentally kill any.
