The huge Extinguishing Elongflea stands high above the ground on its three long legs, allowing it to take wide steps as it roams across the Roiling Springs. Though the creature makes no effort to attack Pikmin unless provoked, the tips of its claws generate a cooling liquid that allows it to walk unharmed on the flowing lava pools of the area. Each step causes a bubbling puddle of water to linger in place for a few seconds, which will cause all Pikmin but Blue Pikmin to start running around suffocating if they touch it. The Extinguishing Elongflea will also spray down a cascade of water from the middle of its body to disrupt Pikmin that are attacking it. Its body is too high up for most Pikmin besides Yellow Pikmin and Winged Pikmin to reach.
