The Original Pikmin is a prehistoric thought to be extinct Pikmin specie in Pikmin 2... Again?. They were the first Pikmin type ever to exist, being light gray and with no special features on appearance. They are not found usually, but then after ending the game once defeating the Supreme Dweevil they can be found on a hidden area that couldn't be reached for being blocked by a amethyst gate, which they'll join the squad and even their own Onion. But also seen on some game modes which their candypop bud known as Prehistoric Candypop Bud. They are resistant to explosions and acid, also having three times the strength of a Pikmin, being needed for parts that have things like acid puddles and falling bomb nuggets on the Ultimate Challenge but also for destroy amethyst gates.
