The Acid Wraith is the second boss in Pikmin: Adventure of Four. Despite its resemblance to a Plasm Wraith or a Mysterious Life-Form depending on its form, other than its green, acidic body, it's a fairly easy boss. It will eat Green Pikmin, melting every other Pikmin type with its acid. The Acid Wraith will spit blobs of acid at leaders and any group of Pikmin containing five or more Pikmin that are not Green Pikmin. Periodically, it will revert to its other form, the Acidic Mysterious Life-Form, which is difficult to harm because it is so fast but can only knock leaders back and kill any Pikmin that are not Green Pikmin. Defeating the Acid Wraith is simple, as long as only one leader is brought into the battle alongside at least thirty-five Green Pikmin. Rapidly attack it using Green Pikmin, hiding whenever it reverts into the Acidic Mysterious Life-Form. If at least eighty Green Pikmin are used, the boss can be defeated in a single cycle.
