The Alligator Pliers is a treasure in Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers. It is a metal compound lever nail clipper with Japanese text on top, and an imprint on the bottom of an eggplant. The Alligator Pliers values at P2 Poko icon.png × 1200, has a carrying weight of 7 units, and can be carried by a maximum of 14 Pikmin at once.

The Alligator Pliers is found on sublevel three of Spelunker's Locker. It is inside a Spotty Bulbear that prowls the sublevel. If the creature is too tough to fight, it can be coaxed into walking in the explosion caused by the gunpowder barrel associated with the sublevel's puzzle. Caution must be practiced to ensure that the Pikmin don't get caught in the blast as well.

Notes

Olimar's notes

After multiple embarrassing hours of fruitless adjustment plus a near death experience, I have deducted that this device is meant to slice materials like paper with exact measurements. It appears to be manual, but the handle is much out of my reach when erected. Perhaps the original inhabitants were much taller.

Sales pitch

You can't go wrong with such a nippy contraption! Measurements would be all but impossible in the modern day had it not been for machines such as I, so a mill that chooses itself when the time is right is much appreciated!
