Black Abyss is the fourth area in Pikmin 3, and is unlocked after a cutscene in the Pensive Plains at the edge of a cliff reveals a distant clearing between the trees. This area is actually a reimagining of Pikmin 1's Forest Navel, and just like it, it is where the game's final Pikmin type, the Blue Pikmin, are discovered.
Caves
- Grim Passage
- Several unrevealed caves, the last of which would have contained the fourth and final radio machine
