Template:Infobox Enemy This is a variant of Goolix with a much more caustic substance making up its "body." The liquid is green, not blue. However, the structures inside remain the same- one nucleus that causes more damage when hit but causes the creature to vibrate, and another one which can be attacked constantly for minimal damage. It can only be defeated with Green Pikmin because only they have the resistance to its powerful chemical defenses.

In Pikmin: Near Extinction
The Chemical Goolix reappears in Pikmin: Near Extinction, but has a different name; Acidic Goolix, and it also has a different appearance (see picture). However, the Acidic Goolix only appears under certain conditions:
- In the Landing site, the Mini Long Legs must be defeated.
- You need to have discovered Blue Pikmin; also preferably Lime Pikmin.
- You must have more than 500 Pikmin total.
Strategy
Only Lime Pikmin and Blue Pikmin can hurt it. However, it is a bad idea to fight early since the acid melts Blue Pikmin after a few seconds. It will instantly kill all other Pikmin. You must attack and destroy the acid producing nucleus for it to melt away. Remember to quickly whistle your Blue Pikmin away!

Behavior
The Chemical Goolix is territorial so it chases down any Pikmin or captain in its sublevel. It tries to drown Pikmin in acid.
In Pikmin 3: The Dweevil's Revenge
Template:PTDR In Pikmin 3: The Dweevil's Revenge the Chemical Goolix is a force to be reckoned with! First of all there are no Pikmin immune the substance that it uses (which, by the way, is the same substance that the Smoky Progg uses) and it surprise attacks you!
Behavior
It appears the same way as a regular Goolix would (emerging from the ground) and really, is just a Goolix, yet invincible.

- Wollywog World after day 45.
- Chaotic Cove sublevel 7
Trivia
- In Pikmin 3: The Dweevil's Revenge it's invincible, and due to that, it has no seed or Poko value.
- By hacking to defeat it in the above game it simply disappears along with a glitchy Bulborb cry.
