It is found in the Loaf Territory, and fights alongside [[Emperor Breadbug]]. It appears to be a long bun used for making submarine sandwiches. It attacks the same way that an [[Empress Bulblax]] attacks, and looks far from the same from one, although the attack pattern is the same for the first half of the fight: it rolls back and forth after taking a certain amount of punishment. Rolling back and forth may cause the Empress Breadbug to accidentally kill members of its own family. To awaken it, [[Captain Olimar]] must awaken it as an Empress Bulblax would be woken; throwing Pikmin onto it. Continue punishing it until the Empress Breadbug reaches half of its maximum health. When it reaches half health, it will take on a new form of attack: burrowing into the ground and rising up to attack Pikmin every one in a while. The Empress Breadbug will attempt to rise up from underneath a group of Pikmin. If successful, it will eat a maximum of five Pikmin each time. Once it has suffered enough damage, it will retreat into the ground to rise once again. Continue this process and the Empress Breadbug will soon be defeated. When the Empress Breadbug is killed, it will slowly crawl completely onto the ground, uttering one last cry before it finally succumbs. It will then create a sizzling sound, and the Empress Breadbug's sections will begin disappearing, save for the one connected to the head.
