The Empress Bulblax has markings and general features are similar to those of the Red Bulborb, but its body is much larger and composed of five distinct segments; its comparatively tiny legs dangle above the ground. It may be found asleep or actively birthing larvae, and may cause boulders to fall from the sublevel's ceiling upon colliding with a wall while retaliating from attack.
