A generally non-hostile creature, it flies in the air at heights only accessible by [[Yellow Pikmin]] and [[Winged Pikmin]] while shining light downwards from its glowing abdomen. Though this provides precious illumination in dark caverns, it also acts as a searchlight that warns the Flittering Glowbelly of incoming predators. The Flittering Glowbelly is a cave-dwelling scarpanid. A generally non-hostile creature, it flies in the air at heights only accessible by Yellow Pikmin and Winged Pikmin while shining light downwards from its glowing abdomen.
