In Pikmin V, big bomb rocks have the strength of three bomb rocks and are the same size as the bomb rocks found Pikmin 2. Big bomb rocks are now able to be carried, requiring five Pikmin to carry (and having a maximum of ten), who follow the active leader or a nearby leader similar to how carrying Olimar worked in the Formidable Oak. They are only found in the Deep Palace and in the fight against its boss, the Emperor Bulblax, where they are required to defeat it.
