The Hater is a bitter creature known for hating everything it sees. There are many Haters in the world, but the red Hater is the only one seen. The Hater is a disembodied, floating face with two lines for eyes, a "V"-shaped unibrow, and a grimace, forming an angry expression. When the Hater sees anything, including Pikmin, leaders, and enemies, it becomes furious and produces a hand. It will use this hand to crush Pikmin, slam leaders to the ground, and punch enemies for high damage. The Hater always speaks in all capital letters with excessive exclamation marks and spelling errors. Due to its eternal hate, the Hater never changes its angry expression at all; all it cares about is hating everything. The Hater cannot be defeated due to its health wheel being seemingly infinite.
