The Muffinbug is a breadbug afflicted with spores from a Puffstool, giving it a bloated, muffin-like appearance. It waddles around on its short, stubby legs and puffs clouds of poison gas. Upon sighting approaching Pikmin, it waddles as fast as it can to escape (which isn't very fast). It's a rare enemy. It will run around for about 30 seconds after being spotted before burrowing into the ground and not coming out. It has a ton of health, so beat on it as hard as fast as you can to defeat it before it escapes. Beating this rare enemy is its own reward.
