The '''Proto-Legs''' is a [[Mesoid family|mesoid]] in ''[[Pikspore]]'' that mimics and shares characteristics with the [[Beady Long Legs]], but is easily differentiated from the [[Arachnorb family|arachnorb]] by its relatively small size and tripodal gait. About the same size as a [[Red Bulborb]], its feet are too small to [[Blunt force|crush]] [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]], so it ducks down over them to eat them with its mouth, one by one. It falls from the sky like its visual namesake, sending Pikmin into a [[panic]], and is quite fast, often appearing in large numbers.
Proto-Legs were once thought to be the larval form of the [[Beady Long Legs]], but are actually a completely different species. They are about the same size as a [[Red Bulborb]], have only three legs, are pale yellow-colored, and have three vestigial eyes. Their feet are too small to damage Pikmin, so they duck down over them to eat them, one by one. They fall from the sky like true Arachnorbs, causing Pikmin to scatter and flee, and are quite fast, often appearing in large numbers.
