The Shiny Candypop is the candypop for the Bronze Pikmin. Oddly, you cannot turn other pikmin into Bronze Pikmin by tossing them in. You can only turn Silver Pikmin and Gold Pikmin into bronze. One of the reasons you might want to do this is beacause if you evolve all of your Bronze and Silver Pikmin into Gold, you cannot mine any more pikmin from the Cave of Origin (which is the ONLY place you can get Silver, Bronze, and Gold Pikmin) Only Silver and Bronze Pikmin can mine.
