The Sticky Clamclamp is a relative of the Pearly Clamclamp that utilizes adhesive to catch prey. Its shell and tongue are gray, on resting on its tongue is a red pearl surrounded by a sticky red membrane. Most Pikmin that are thrown into the Sticky Clamclamp's tongue will become stuck to it and can only escape if whistled repeatedly, but Black Pikmin are unaffected by the adhesive. Destroying the membrane surrounding the pearl will cause the Sticky Clamclamp to spit it out. The pearl can be carried to an Onion for fifty seeds.
