Hmm, yeah, I guess it looks like that too. But Cursed Thorn was created less than a year ago, so it couldn't have been the inspiration for Dark Virus. Meanwhile, Bowser's Inside Story came out in 2009, so realistically could have been a source of inspiration for The After Years's final boss, since that game was really popular when it came out. Dark Virus looks pretty similar to the Dark Star, they have the same eyes and are both black stars, just with different numbers of points. – A Friendly Amprat ^{(Talk | Contribs | Projects)}

I would assume Dark Virus is based on the Dark Star, considering how many references to other video game series Gamefreak75 loved putting in their games (usually much to my chagrin years later). ~ Cheepy-Cheepy  13:28, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
