In ''[[Pikmin: Redemption]]'', '''ultra-poison spray''' is a grayish-black [[spray]] obtained from black [[Burgeoning Spiderwort]] berries and dropped by black [[Unmarked Spectralid]]s and occasionally [[Ujadani|Iridescent Glint Beetle Larva]]e. Because of its nature, ultra-poison spray steadily inflicts half as much damage to enemies in its range as they would receive by eating a [[White Pikmin]], but is incapable of killing them.


Ultra Poison Spray is dropped by Black [[Unmarked Spectralids]], [[Burgeoning Spiderwort]], and [[Iridescent Glint Beetle Larva]](IGBL), more commonly known as 'strange bugs' or 'Wistful Wild Bugs'. It is grayish-black colored. It is a poisonous spray that deals half as much damage as eating a [[White Pikmin]] to all enemies caught in the spray's radius. It will not kill an enemy, at most it will bring the creature down to where one-hit will kill it.
At [[the Oasis]], there is a swarm of Iridescent Glint Beetle Larvae in the alcove behind where [[Tan Pikmin]] are discovered, and black Unmarked Spectralids may appear at the landing site on random days. At [[Flooded Abyss]], there are two Burgeoning Spiderworts on an island in the center of the lake, one bearing black berries and the other red berries, and talking with [[Candypop Knight|Sir Pikmin]] after unlocking every area except for the final one will prompt him into giving away two doses of the spray. In Pikmin: Redemption, ultra-poison spray is a grayish-black spray obtained from black Burgeoning Spiderwort berries and dropped by black Unmarked Spectralids and occasionally Iridescent Glint Beetle Larvae. Because of its nature, ultra-poison spray steadily inflicts half as much damage to enemies in its range as they would receive by eating a White Pikmin, but is incapable of killing them.
