The Bronzed Cannon Beetle is the adult form of the Bronzed Cannon Beetle Larva, both of which appear in Pikmin: Spark. As the name suggests, its shell is made of a shiny, bronze-like substance due to its diet consisting mostly of copper and other metals. However, the metal-rich diet also causes it to adopt a noticeable distinction: producing highly reactive boulders. Its signature attack is spitting, in an arc, giant glowing boulders, which later split into several smaller boulders and eventually split again into even smaller explosive pellets, which explode upon impact, instantly killing any Pikmin caught in the blasts they produce. Like other adult lithopods, a Pikmin can be thrown into its blowhole to lodge it in there and force the creature to open its shell, exposing its vulnerable backside. Be wary of the jets of flame expelled from the creature's sides as a result of its body being depressurized. Battling a Bronzed Cannon Beetle by using a combination of Goo Pikmin and Red Pikmin against it nullifies the threats of its two elemental abilities.

Notes

Abel's medical journal

The stomach of this creature alights with explosive diligence when I simply prod it with a needle. Dissecting the creature is not recommended.

Lyn's sale review

The shell of this creature is similar in consistency to bronze, so maybe we can use this as a material for microchips.
