The Eiyseeyuu is a species of adult pupilgeist in Pikmin Evolution, being the matured form of the Eiysee. It is a large white bulbous mass of tissue with a red eye on its front and two stubby arms on either side of its body, having an overall ghostly appearance. This pupilgeist spends its time in the dark recesses of various dens, idly drifting and undulating in the air. However, this behavior is generally difficult to see, as the Eiyseeyuu is normally both invisible and intangible, eerily visible only for a brief moment while it turns direction. The only other time it can be seen is when it deliberately reveals itself, and that is when it decides to perform its signature attack: spewing a series of Eiysees from its eye-like mouth. These Eiysees differ from other Eiysees in that they are paler and don't leave behind a corpse when killed, but still retain their excellent leaping abilities and ravenous appetite.
While the Eiyseeyuu is visible, it is also vulnerable, and with quick reaction, it can be taken down with any Pikmin type. The creatures are resilient, however, but can typically be defeated within two to three attacks. This is only magnified once the disturbing creature reaches half-health, as it will begin spawning more Eiysees at a faster rate. Kelp Pikmin are particularly effective against Eiyseeyuus because they can hook onto the specters' bodies with their long leaves, making them easier to kill. However, like its offspring, the Eiyseeyuu has a crippling weakness to water. It casts a show over water, and splashing water on it, such as by using a blue syrup, will stun it and force it to reveal itself. Water is even more useful against its Eiysees, as they are instantly killed by the element. When killed, the Eiyseeyuu's plasmatic membrane disappears, revealing a marshmallow-like corpse, which Eiysees can enter if left unattended, reviving the creature. Overall, the Eiyseeyuu is an unsettling monstrosity that may seem impossible to face at first but can easily be overcome just by using water.
