The Feral Bulblax appears in Pikmin: Ultimate Doom as a savage-looking bulborb with coarse brown hair and with blood dripping from its pale teeth as a display of its ferocity. It becomes alerted of Olimar and his Pikmin when they draw near, swiftly prompting it to seek an advantageous position such as higher ground. When the time is right, the Feral Bulblax will viciously lunge out at them, taking up to three Pikmin per bite, and then flee with up to twelve Pikmin in its mouth. Afterward, it eats them one after another, stopping to chew Purple Pikmin. Attack it when it is lunging or chewing. Alternatively, use a single Purple Pikmin to act as a distraction, and while the Feral Bulblax is chewing it, bombard the beast with more Purple Pikmin to stun and hurt it.
