Golden Skyhoppers are little blob-like creatures in Pikmin: Global Breakdown that release a surge of electricity when threatened. They are incredibly easy to kill, requiring a few hits from a Pikmin or a single hit from a leader, but their small size and agility may make it a difficult task. Like other skyhoppers, the Golden Skyhopper relies heavily on enemies around it to kill Pikmin antagonizing it; the creature will lure a nearby enemy over to Pikmin, or keep Pikmin busy until an enemy passes by.
