Attacks Eats Pikmin, produces adhesive

The Long Sky Dumple is a large, hostile, airborne, adhesive-covered grub-dog strongly related to the Sky Dumple and Long Water Dumple. It floats peacefully and majestically through the air above its territory when left alone, often getting stuck to walls, surrounding Sky Dumples, and other objects it comes into contact with but eventually freeing itself. It becomes extremely aggressive towards Pikmin and leaders that draw near, and growls and bares its teeth before beginning to circle overhead of them until the time is right to swoop down in an attempt to eat them. Leaders that are eaten may struggle within the creature's belly to cause it to regurgitate them. Most Pikmin, except for the adhesive-resistant Black Pikmin, and leaders that come into contact with any part of the Long Sky Dumple's body become stuck unless they respectively are whistled or struggle enough. They also can not attack the creature in any meaningful capacity while in this state.

The Long Sky Dumple resembles the Long Water Dumple in shape and size, being a long and massive creature, but not in physical features or coloration. It possesses scaly, magenta skin decorated with white spots and it has light pink lips that are the same color as its tailfin. It lacks whiskers and eyes.

Because of its sticky skin, the Long Sky Dumple can be troubling to take down. Although Black Pikmin are most effective against it because of their immunity to the qualities of adhesive, Rock Pikmin throws and Purple Pikmin pounds can be used to inflict decent damage. Having at least ten Purple Pikmin stuck to the creature forces it to the ground. Coaxing the Long Sky Dumple into ingesting a bomb rock is also an effective strategy as its explosion inflicts quite a bit of harm to the creature's delicate insides. Taking advantage of the Long Sky Dumple sticking to anything it collides with is wise as the creature temporarily becomes immobile and harmless.
