The Mortar Blowhog is a power species of blowhog in Pikspore. It is a quadrupedal, elephantine creature with brick-red skin, glowing yellow eyes, and a long trunk tipped with a black rim. This creature acts like most blowhogs but is slightly larger and slower. When it sees leaders or Pikmin, it will inhale and spit a slow-moving missile-like projectile that homes in on its targets and, upon hitting a surface, explode with the strength of a bomb rock. Throwing or swarming large amounts of Pikmin on it is effective, but watch out for when it prepares to buck Pikmin off. Alternatively, it can be killed by leading its missiles into it.
