The Percussive Sun is a treasure in Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers. It is a golden hami melon. The Percussive Sun values at × 2,050, has a carrying weight of 45 units, and can be carried by a maximum of 90 Pikmin at once.
The Percussive Sun is dropped by the Diurnal Phosbat in the Thicket of Nourishment. Due to its flying habit, Purple Pikmin can be easily used to weigh it to the ground. This also helps in transporting the treasure, as it weighs an extreme amount. Black Pikmin could also be used due to the lubricant the boss creates. Defeating the Diurnal Phosbat also allows access to the Husk of Aspirations, which is also in its arena.
