In Pikmin: Attack of DeathSpike, the Death Spiked Withering Blowhog is a Withering Blowhog that has been infected by a DeathSpike fragment. They resemble Withering Blowhogs, although larger and with a dark green body, a dark purple snout, and large green spikes protruding from their rear and smaller ones from their face. Harmless purple electricity surges along their bodies and arcs between their spikes and is present in the wind they blow to defend themselves and depetal Pikmin. Additionally, it can eat Pikmin as well as skewer them on its spikes. Spike Pikmin are preferred to use against a Death Spiked Withering Blowhog, although if none are available, Purple Pikmin can be thrown at its bare underbelly to weigh it down quickly. Once grounded, the blowhog will attempt to roll away; if on soft terrain, it will become stuck to the ground because of its spikes, but if on hard terrain, this will not happen, but a Purple Pikmin can be thrown onto its belly to stun the creature. Winged Pikmin automatically rush at its belly. When killed, it deflates quickly and its deflated, spikeless corpse falls from above.

Notes

Olimar's notes

Mortemclavus sus inflatus, otherwise known as DeathSpiked Withering Blowhog. This poor creature used to be bright orange with yellow dots along its circumference and had a soft palish yellow underbelly, but after it was infected by a deathspike fragment, it grew big green spikes on its back and now has a green body with sickly grey dots along its circumference, and its soft underbelly is now purple. It is now able to shoot its spikes from its body, and as they are tipped with deathspike fragments, contact with them will infect other creatures around it. So, the best strategy when encountering one of them is to bring it down as soon as possible before it has a chance to blow its spikes out. That would lead to a deadly and dangerous situation. It is also more powerful now because the spikes make it heavier, requiring a stronger air bladder to remain airborne.
