The Triggered Clamper is an oyster-like creature appearing in Pikmin Z. It resembles a typical Pearly Clamclamp, but with a darker shell, and behaves similarly to a Venus flytrap in that it will slam shut without hesitation if a Pikmin or smaller enemy slips between its clamps. Because they can not be destroyed, they serve more as an obstacle and are better left alone.
