Furious Fields is the third area in Pikmin 3 (Flish version) which is unlocked after the Real Painting is granted. It is the Perplexing Pool, which dried up and became a desert after the events of Pikmin 2. The layout of the map is similiar, but the pure water is gone and everything is covered in sand. Several pools of muddy water are found around the stage, each harboring one Sand Dumple. Furious Fields has only three rings for onions to land on, despite there being eight available onions in the game. Therefore, one must choose which three onions to take down to the area each day they explore it. This, of course, does not pose a problem until at least four onions are discovered.
