The Aquatic Bladebug is bladebug appearing in Pikoblitz. It is usually found in dungeons, but in Challenge Mode, it can be found in the third stage, Murky Spring. It does not burrow into the ground. The Aquatic Bladebug resembles a blue, real-world praying mantis with a leaf-green abdomen. Like all bladebugs, it has a tan, circular feature on the middle of its abdomen, which is vulnerable to attack. It rams into Pikmin and leaders and high speeds, deflowering the former and harming the latter. It flees swiftly when hurt, making it an especially annoying enemy to fight.

- “Aquatic creatures are everywhere on this alien planet, but what makes this planet more unbearable is the fact it is crawling with countless species of insects. The Aquatic Bladebug is a combination of both of these features of this world. Under observation, this Bladebug species' females are attracted to the fastest of the kind. Placing a group of males in an observation chamber with one or two females results in lots of races between the male specimens.”

- “First, wring dry the specimen, then tenderize the meat and deep fry. Cut into thin circles, serve with melted cheese, and you have a nice, crunchy batch of cheesy Bladebug chips!”
