The Blovine is a strange plant enemy appearing in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The creature is a large, green vine covered in small leaves and with five buds. The buds initially have 1 Blo of any variety attached to it, its rarity dependent on its species. Red Blos are most common at 80%, Orange Blos are at 40%, Blobears are at 25%, and Bloblaxes are at 12%. The Blovine will produce 1 Blo every 6 seconds as long as there is a Blo ready. Unlike normal Blos, Blos generated by the Blovine are always aggressive toward Pikmin and leaders. There can be up to 10 active Blos at once before a Bovine temporarily ceases production. If a Blo from a Blovine is killed, the bud that spawned that vine has a 25-second period to regrow a Blo before it can be ready to deploy again. The Blovine can be damaged by throwing Pikmin onto it or charging it, but it can take a long time to kill because it has so much vitality. However, Cactus Pikmin and Dart Pikmin do extra damage.
