Attacks Stuns and eats Pikmin

The Juvenile Groink is a new creature discovered in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. These groinks are a younger version of the Gatling Groink. However, the creature has yet to develop its iconic glass shield. These creatures are mainly found in groups of five to six, occasionally being found by a Gatling Groink.

Juvenile Groinks rarely wander far from their origin points, tending to stay in groups to preserve themselves. If a Gatling Groink is nearby, the juveniles will follow it, similar to how Dwarf Bulbears follow a Spotty Bulbear. Once a Pikmin or captain is in range, they will engage in combat. They will tend to stay away from Pikmin, running off if attacked. The juvenile will fire one small blast at the Pikmin, which can only stun them, and upon doing so, the Groink will run up to the Pikmin and snatch it with its mouth, running off to eat it in a safe area. An Iguana Pikmin can take out these pesky enemies from afar and avoid its bite attack, but must watch out for its explosions. It is best for a captain to attack the Juvenile Groink when it is running off with a Pikmin, for it can not fight back. Gatling Groinks will fiercely protect Juvenile Groinks, focusing on any Pikmin attacking the smaller creatures. It is also noted that Juvenile Groinks are not harmed by a Gatling Groink's attacks.

Notes

Olimar's notes

A groink in its younger years. These creatures have yet to develop the armor that the Gatling Groink uses for protection. Their bullets are also much less lethal early on, so the groink relies on having to stun their prey before consuming them with their attacks. It is quite rare to actually see an adult groink eat, as they tend to kill their prey and drag them back to their nests before consumption. I have tried to find people to go and travel to said nests, but everyone is too scared to volunteer. Frankly, I don't blame them.

Louie's notes

Once the ammo is removed, this creature is best used as a new type of meat in your grandmother's stew. Just don't let her know where you got it from!

President’s notes

Child labor is wrong... not for this guy! Just kidding, I would never do that. Although they would probably be better workers than my bottom-rung employees... Slackers!
