Leafwing Beetle is an enemy with leaf-like wings in Pikmin 2... Again?. It walks around peacefully until threatened, whereupon it produces a seed from its abdomen, thrusts it into the ground, and flees. Shortly thereafter, a Thorn Stalk thrusts out of the ground from the spot the seed was buried, impaling and killing any Pikmin there at the time except Green Pikmin. If a Green Pikmin was above where the seed was buried, the seed will not sprout.

- “Leafwing Beetle / Granadas flora / Dropping beetle family. This species of dropping beetle eats fruits, but can not digest their seeds. The Leafwing Beetle is not hostile and will run away when threatened, but defecate undigested seeds during its escape. The seeds then grow into spiky beanstalks shortly after. So, get away from where the seed was, or have Green Pikmin.”
