Ivy is a playable Leafling captain in Pikmin Evolution, being the representative for Yellow Leaflings. Unbeknownst to the rest of the captains, she was a former member of the Order of the Wraiths, a religious sect dedicated to worshipping the wraiths as gods; however, a failed summoning caused the incomplete form of their god, the Waterwraith, to massacre her village, leaving her as the sole survivor. Found barely alive in the Cavern of Fangs, Magdelene and the rest of her crew saved her from almost certain death and nursed her back to health. Grateful, Leni gave her full loyalty to Magdelene's colony, performing the same duties as when she was part of the order, namely, being a chef. Keeping a bright smile, she records recipes she thought up in the Piklopedia, and tries to develop meals that are loved by both the Leaflings and Pikmin. Still, her quirks leave her under the suspicion of a few individuals, who may or may not know her true nature. She is the focal point of the Secrets of the Wraiths.
Personality and quirks
Leni's past with the Order of the Wraiths has influenced her in some areas, mainly her deep affection for Pikmin. She loves Pikmin almost as much as her fellow Leaflings and treats them the closest to people. This makes her deeply sensitive to Pikmin dying at her own hands and causes her to cherish as many Pikmin as possible that grow at the Onion. This reflects her cooking recipes, which seem to equally target Pikmin as they do the Leaflings, despite both races being somewhat unreceptive of her cooking. Leni can be considered the nicest of the playable captains, as she dislikes mindless aggression and only slays beasts if it means others can be safe. Due to Ivy being the most receptive to her cooking, the two have good chemistry.

Leni has average health and traction and below-average speed. Her main strength is her throw power; having the highest in the cast, she can toss Pikmin to places other captains can't. Her unique captain ability is the Beast Juicer, where she can juice creatures when placed in Onions, creating more nectar and syrups for other captains to utilize. Leni's affinity is electricity, meaning she takes reduced damage from electric-based attacks. Leni is overall a balanced character, with no major strengths or weaknesses.
