Lucas is a Green Pikmin appearing as a party member in Pikmin: Steve's Adventure. He has psychic powers and is an assist magic-based character. He is nice and caring but shy and timid. He overcomes his shyness during chapter four and becomes brave like Steve. Steve, Bob, and Joe find Lucas and a Black Pikmin with great magical powers, Robin, and the party proceeds to defeat the many bulborbs at the Oceana Coast. They then battle the Emperor Bulblax, their leader, and succeed. After learning that nothing is there for them, they go to the nearest village, Celestica, and find Nero, who delays their efforts with a mound of boulders. They go to the coastline and travel their way around on a makeshift boat, which are a few leaves of a sakura tree.

Lucas is a unique character as he possesses abilities no other party member has. They all have different effects, but Love is his only offensive psychokinetic ability. The numbers in his assisting moves indicate how many targets are affected.
