Mahowkiniser nests are obstacles in Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers. They resemble domes of mud and wood shavings with numerous large holes leading inside. Three of the nests appear in all six main areas, changing their exact locations from a select few designated spots in them every day. Mahowkiniser nests are home to colonies of Male and Female Mahowkinisers, with one male acting as a sentry for the whole group. If it senses leaders or Pikmin, it will screech in excitement, followed by making a beeline for the Lumberlift alongside four other Male Mahowkinisers and an unlimited amount of Female Mahowkinisers. To keep them from harming the Lumberlift, all five Male Mahowkinisers must be defeated, which will also stop the Females from spawning. Once every Mahowkiniser is slain, the nest will become dormant.
