The Mortar Blowhog is a blowhog in Pikmin: The Final Frontier that resembles a smaller Puffy Blowhog with less pronounced markings. It encases itself in a mortar shell, forming a hard, translucent sphere around itself. Its armor can be easily shattered by throwing Granite Pikmin at it, and as the creature has no way to keep itself afloat without its mortar barrier, it will drop to the ground, defending itself by trying to shake Pikmin off every few seconds until it dies.
