Holy crap! – Peter, upon noticing the Pikmin

Peter Griffin is a Human best described as a "family guy". He inhabits Rhode Island, where he is found watching television alone in the living room of the Griffin family home. The only explorable portion of the area is the oval-shaped rug in front of the sofa. Rather than the typical landing cutscene every other area has, Rhode Island's is a brief shot of the Griffin home with accompanying transitional music.

Peter has a distinctive appearance. He has brown, neatly trimmed hair. His nose is bulbous, his chin cleft, and his smile endearing. Being obese, he also has a large frame. Peter wears round glasses, a white button-up shirt, green pants, a black belt with a gold buckle, and brown shoes. Most of the time, only his feet and lower legs are visible.

Peter doesn't notice the Pikmin or leaders until they move around for a bit, most likely to explore their surroundings. When he does, he turns the television off and jumps to his feet with an exclamation; at this point, "Surfin' Bird" by The Trashmen begins playing to signify the battle. Peter attacks simply by trying to crush Pikmin and leaders under his feet, but does so rather slowly, presumably to draw out the death he's about to deliver to what he perceives as harmless pests. Tripping him up with enough Pikmin tugging at his feet simultaneously will cause him to fall on his rear with an earth-shaking thud, stunned, at which point he will be vulnerable. His arms and face can be struck by Pikmin, but attacking his face inflicts the most damage. Peter will eventually recover, then resume his assault, but he can be taken down again. Throughout the fight, Peter will voice his frustration in failing to kill Pikmin and satisfaction in successfully managing to. If, at any point, Peter kills all on-field Pikmin, Peter will perform his usual alternating dance to Surfin' Bird.

After reducing Peter's health to 4/5ths, he mentions this being "about as fun as time he fried ants with a magnifying glass". This begins one of several intermissions from the fight in the form of a cutaway. This particular cutaway has the Pikmin and leaders surviving against Peter in an outdoor setting, specifically the sidewalk leading up to the house, while he uses a magnifying glass to focus sunlight on the Pikmin and leaders to burn them. Red Pikmin are resistant to this attack, so they are the most likely to survive as Peter is quick and the sun is hot. During this cutaway, Peter can not be hurt, as he is sitting on the elevated stoop. After 30 seconds, the fight resumes, with Peter now mildly annoyed. His stomps are faster and harder, but Pikmin can tug at his feet to knock him down as before to attack him. Quick reaction is necessary to both prevent Pikmin deaths and knock Peter down.

When Peter's health reaches 1/2, he mentions this being "worse than the time he bought a vacuum robot from a yard sale". In this cutaway, the Pikmin and leaders must survive against an erratic Roomba in the master bedroom of the Griffin home. Attacking the robot is ineffective, and any Pikmin it moves over are quickly sucked in and killed. There is limited area to move, and the robot is likely to chase after Pikmin and leaders or double back to fool them when they try to move out of its way. The cutaway ends after a grueling 45 seconds. When the fight resumes, Peter is visibly frustrated, but almost looks maniacal as well. He now sits on the sofa, holding a can of poison spray close to the Pikmin and leaders. He actively saturates the area in front of him with the chemical, almost guaranteed to endanger Pikmin that are not White Pikmin, but the area of the rug furthest from him is safe. Although Peter can not be tripped up in this phase, his hand is always in reach of thrown Pikmin, but regular flinching keeps Pikmin from staying latched on for long.

The final phase begins when Peter's health reaches 1/4th. The final cutaway begins with Peter stating this is "just like fighting the chicken". The current leader is now to scale with Peter, and the two engage in a fistfight in a barren parking lot setting during the day. Both Peter and the leader have full health wheels in this cutaway, regardless of their condition outside of it. The leader must approach Peter to hit him and back away or strafe before Peter can hit them, and Peter may perform the same maneuvers, and both can also perform combo hits. This cutaway lasts until either individual goes down. If the current leader wins, Peter will fall on his rear and do the "hurt knee" gag for a few moments before the cutaway ends. If Peter wins, the cutaway ends with all leaders defeated and on-field Pikmin killed, thus automatically ending the day.

Upon defeat, Peter will have wordlessly collapsed away from the rug before the final cutaway ends, assuming the generic Family Guy death pose. His back always faces the camera no matter which direction he is observed from, but movement is restricted enough to prevent close inspection.

Following his defeat, Peter becomes a playable character, to scale with the others. He makes regular remarks about his surroundings. When he lies down, it's in his death pose. His "space suit" is his normal attire but with the addition of a fish bowl on his head to serve as a helmet, though he does not wear it on PNF-404 because he can breathe oxygen. Peter also has his own space pup, Brian, which has white fur, short, floppy ears, a large black nose, and a red collar with a round gold tag.
