The Plumpinch is a swack in Pikmin 2... Again?. It resembles a blue plum with green eyes and leaf-like legs, and on top of it is a stem with a mouth like that of the Bumping Chrysanthemum's. When spotting Pikmin or leaders, the Plumpinch will catch them with its mouth and then throw them in a certain direction. Though they are usually harmless, they can pose a major threat around pits, which Pikmin and leaders can be thrown into.

- “They may look funny-looking, like plums, but blue. The limb on top of it isn't an arm or antennae, it is its mouth and throat. It doesn't eat Pikmin but throws them instead. It's strange how the species I'm finding seem to replicate my actions... The Antenna Beetle copies my whistle and the Shiny Snitchbug pulls Pikmin from the ground, and smoke makes Pikmin stop what they're doing. Now this one throws them like how I throw Pikmin. This all sounds so strange, but it could just be by coincidence. Or perhaps it's truly something more?”
